William S. Reeves was born about 1760 in N.C. and died in 1835 in Bedford County, Tennessee. The descendants of his seven known children (Isom, Elizabeth, Mary, Rebecca, Reuben, Absalom and John) moved from N. C. after the Revolutionary War, through South Carolina into Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, and Arkansas in the early years of the Westward Movement. Ten generations of many of William’s descendants are included in the publication.

BOOK SIZE“Reaves, Reeves, Reavis, Rives–A One Name Study, Volume I”, is 507 pages in length plus an additional 37 pages of pictures (five in color). It is a hard bound publication.
COST
The cost of the book is $65.00 ($62.00 plus $3.00 packing and mailing). We had previously estimated that the cost would be approximately $55.00. However, the book has 100 pages more
than expected and many more pictures than originally planned, thus, the cost of publishing increased accordingly.

The book is well worth its cost. It includes 507 pages of well documented family data, priceless pictures and very interesting family stories.
